Back In Melbourne.
Here I am, in Melbourne, a place which I love so much and yet hate so much.I actually arrived Melbourne yesterday night, but was busy unpacking my stuff (fine, I admit that I didnt really unpack the things but ended up cleaning my drawer here which is filled with receipts!), so didnt have time to blog... LOL~~~
My aunt had a dinner to attend, thus I have to catch a taxi home. It cost me $46.90!!! Very 'sam tung' but what to do? I so miss my beloved country where things are so cheap and I can spend like mad using RM and I seriously hate AUD, seriously...
Btw the flight was a bit bad as always. I dislike long distance flight, especially in economy class! VIP express buses provide better journey instead with the large space. The spaces in the plane are so limited and the damn guy sitting in front of me was reclining his seat as if he owns the plane!!! Pls be more considerate la plp... And I think airliners should consider to adjust the maximum limit that a seat in economy class can recline! I was so uncomfortable during the whole journey with him reclining his seat to the max all the time except during meal time when he was required to put the seat upright.
I watch like 2 and 1/2 movies, didnt managed to finish Dreamgirls, which is the best movie among those that I watched. Casino Royale was a bit boring for me, dont know why, I just dont have the satisfaction after watching it. The Banquet was typical Chinese movie designed to win awards. Pls forgive me for being skeptical but this is what I think la, it's not my cup of tea. I suppose I had some kind of bad luck recently when it comes to movie. During CNY, we watched The Epic Movie, Norbit & Eragon which others commented are nice, but I just dont feel the same way as they did, neither Eric, Dan Qin and Yu-Yang did. So dissapointed I tell you...
One more thing, I think MAS had improved on their food. The Nasi Lemak with Spicy Squid was not bad to my standard. I chossen Nasi Lemak over Omelette as I think Nasi Lemak is more expensive in Melbourne and I have little chance to eat it. :p I am kiasu!!! But not a bad choice after all...
Today, went yumcha with May, Hisa, John, Qi Lun, Zhong Yong & Yu Sak in Shark Fin House. Somehow or rather I still prefer the dimsum in Ming Court, Ipoh, the Har Kau & Siu Mai in Ming Court are definitely better. Anyway, they have the best pau ever, Lau Sau Pau, which is sweet bun filled with egg york, butter, and sugar. So nice le... I dont think can find that in Malaysia.
Then, went to Hisa house and chill til dinner time. Had our dinner at the new Dessert House along Swanston Street. The House Special Pork Chop was not bad and I think it actually taste weird, probably it a bit too sweet for me.
One more thing I wanna rant about is Melbourne Uni server, so shit k. I cant log in SIS the whole day and I wanna change my timetable. It is so not to my liking. I had 1 hour each on Monday and Friday, 4 hours in Tuesday, and 5 hours in Thursday. So uneven la the time... I wanna shift some to Monday or Friday, but cannot because majority of my classes are on Tues and Thurs. Whose fault???
Uni starting tommorow and I am so not used to it yet. I miss home so much and I wish I can go back Malaysia at any time I like to...
